Some key factors may affect the performance of cutter suction dredgers

Cutter suction dredger is a more common type of hydraulic dredger. Its whole workflow is divided into three steps: excavation, inhalation and mud conveying. First of all, with the help of the rotating knife in front of the sediment at the bottom is excavated, twisted pine and make the water and sediment fully mixed evenly, the cement mixture through the mud suction pump under the action of atmospheric pressure, and then pressurized to the blowing area.

Factors affecting the production efficiency of dredger is often not only one, often is the result of a variety of factors, we can attribute these factors into two categories, one is due to its own factors, again is due to external factors, such as the external environment is uncontrollable, so want not to affect the production efficiency only from their own factors, their own factors have the following points:

1、 The excavation capacity of the dredger is related to the structure of the cutter: including power, rotation speed, transverse movement speed and cutting thickness;

2、Inspiration capacity is related to the suction port size, suction port resistance and the performance of the mud pump;

3、The conveying capacity is related to the rotation speed of the pump, the working efficiency of the mud pump, the mud pump performance, the conveying power and the pipeline characteristics.
